Fast and Abstinence
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence for Catholics. In addition, Fridays during Lent are obligatory days of abstinence.

For members of the Latin Catholic Church, the norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 until age 59. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal. The norms concerning abstinence from meat are binding upon members of the Latin Catholic Church from age 14 onwards.

Fit Shepherds aims to help every man in our community be in the best physical and spiritual shape of his life. Fit Shepherds are formed through demanding workouts, fraternity, and discipleship. We meet every Saturday morning at 6:30am at the Boston Middle School outdoor track. All men 16 and older are welcome.

Celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph, one of our patron saints. Mass is at 6:00pm, followed by food and fellowship afterwards. Food will be provided by the Knights of Columbus.

Soup and Substance
Thursday, March 24, 6pm, St. Peter Ministry Resource Center.  Join us for a supper of soup, followed by a Lenten reflection given by Fr. Declan McNicholas. We will finish the evening over a light dessert and coffee as we break into small groups for discussion. Childcare will be provided by Holy Family Parish Youth Ministry.
