Theology in the Park 2023 is on Wednesday, August 2 at Kesling Park, Shelter #2. Bring a bag lunch and join us for an afternoon presentation and discussion. This year's speaker will be Diocese of Gary Seminarian, Ivan Alatorre with Fr. Nate. We will begin gathering at 11:30am, the talk will begin promptly at 12pm. Pop, water, and lawn games will be provided by the parish. Invite your friends; bring your kids and stay to play afterwards.

Men Growing in Discipleship
Men, join your brothers as we continue our journey into the discipleship of Jesus. It doesn't matter where you are on the journey, only that you desire to share it with your brothers! The men meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 7 PM in the St. Peter Ministry Center, Gianna Room. Contact Victor Stearns at 219-363-4313 for more information.

Sat Aug 5th, 6:30am - 7:30am, Boston Middle School Track, by the corner of 1st and C street, LaPorte.

Fit Shepherds aims to help every man in our community be in the best physical and spiritual shape of his life. Fit Shepherds are formed through demanding workouts, fraternity, and discipleship. We meet every Saturday morning at 6:30am at the Boston Middle School outdoor track. All men 16 and older are welcome.

Fiat Fitness is a women's exercise group at Holy Family Parish that meets each week for prayer, movement, and fellowship. Women at all levels of fitness are welcome. Each session begins with prayer. Workouts are lead by different women, so you get something new each week.

Holy Family Food Pantry Open House

Stop by and visit our new food pantry located in the church rectory garage and office rooms. The pantry staff will be on hand to give you a tour of the new facility including the in-take room and the pantry food shelves and storage spaces. Learn how we serve those in need in our La Porte community, and how you might get involved. Refreshments will be provided. Open house hours are 11:30 a.m. (after 10:30 Mass) to 1:30 p.m.

Community Mural Meeting
You are invited to participate in three public meetings to gather input for a mural that will be painted on the Holy Family Parish Faith Formation Center, St Joseph Church Campus. Meet the artist, Felix Maldonado, and help guide him to create a piece that specifically reflects the entire Holy Family Parish community.

Come to one of these Faith Formation registration days at St. Joseph School:

August 9, 4-7pm
August 16, 4-7pm
August 23, 4-7pm

Tuition: 1 child - $100.00, 2 children - $150.00, 3 children - $200.00, 4 children - $250.00 (50% of tution is due at the time of registration). If you have a new student to the program and are not from Holy Family, you MUST bring your child's baptismal certificate.
