Dear Parishioners,
Time and again, I have been humbled and impressed with the generosity of our parishioners. When a need is presented, you respond. One of the ways you have responded is in supporting the ministry of our Diocesan Church through the CSA. I am writing to ask for your support this year. Our CSA theme is Partners in Christ Work. As a pastor and as a member of the Church I see the great good the ministries of our Diocese accomplish. Supporting the CSA is important to me. The CSA is our opportunity to financially partner with the Diocese.
With Father Nate, I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial gift to support the ministries of our Church through the CSA. Your gift, large or small, matters!
The Diocese sets our goals based on each parish’s Sunday Collections and other income received. For this year, our goals are as follows: Sacred Heart: $31,167 St. Joseph: $36,257 St. Peter: $29,292
To meet and exceed these goals, we need everyone to do their part. Any funds received over our goal are returned to the parish. Every gift large or small is important. Out of gratitude for all God has done for me, I, Fr. Ian, have made my gift of $1,000.00 towards this year’s campaign.
April 17th and 18th – CSA Commitment Sunday
You can drop your commitment off or mail it in at any time, but the official Commitment Sunday is April 17th and 18th. I would like to encourage you to bring your commitment to Mass that weekend or have mailed it into the Diocese. Enclosed you will find a CSA Pledge Form and a return envelope addressed to the Diocese. You may use this form to either make a pledge to be paid out over several months or a one-time payment. It may be mailed directly to the Diocese or placed in the collection basket at Mass. Also, you can go online to dcgary.org/csa for more information or to make an online payment. Our own website, catholiclaporte.org, also has further information about the CSA and how to contribute.
Please prayerfully consider a personal pledge to the 2021 CSA campaign.
Please make the gift you feel God is asking of you.
