Lenten Book Study

A Lenten faith sharing program for Catholics using the book Seeing with the Heart Kevin O'Brien, SJ. The group meets on Tuesday mornings after Mass at 8:30am at Holy Family, Sacred Heart Activity Center. Cost of the program is $20.00 and includes the book. Kateri Circle

This women's small group meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm, St. Peter Ministry Resource Center. At each meeting there is prayer, a reflection, fellowship, and discussion on ways to serve the church and community. Contact: Donna Larson (219-362-6659).

Scripture Discussion: Explore the Word of God! 

• Wed 8:45-10:15am at Sacred Heart Activity Center. We are currently studying Paul’s Letter to the Romans. Come for morning Mass and stay for the discussion.
• Wed 6:30-8:00pm at St. Peter Ministry Resource Center (Mother Teresa room). We read and discuss next Sunday’s readings. This includes both New and Old Testament.

All are invited and encouraged to participate. There is no teaching, but we learn from one another. It is amazing what insights are shared.

Stations of the Cross

A beautiful and rich tradition in the Catholic Church is to walk with Jesus on His way to the crucifixion during Lent. It is a difficult walk, a humbling walk, a walk that reminds us of His immeasurable love for us and the great sacrifice that He made for each one of us.

Wednesdays of Lent, 6:30pm, St. Peter Church with the Knights of Columbus (English). (Also, Fridays of Lent, 7:00pm, St. Joseph in Spanish.)

Men Growing in Discipleship

Join your brothers as we continue our journey into the discipleship of Jesus. It doesn't matter where you are on the journey, only that you desire to share it with your brothers! The men meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 7 PM in the St. Peter Ministry Center, Gianna Room. Contact Victor Stearns at 219-363-4313 for more information.

Lent Glorify!

Come together as a family of faith to prepare for Easter in a night of Music, Adoration, Prayer. The evening begins at 4pm and will end with Night Prayer and Benediction at 7pm. Confession will be available all night. Prepare your heart for the coming of Easter.

Fit Shepherds aims to help every man in our community be in the best physical and spiritual shape of his life. Fit Shepherds are formed through demanding workouts, fraternity, and discipleship. We meet every Saturday morning at 6:30am at the Boston Middle School outdoor track. All men 16 and older are welcome.

Fiat Fitness is a women's exercise group at Holy Family Parish that meets each week for prayer, movement, and fellowship. Women at all levels of fitness are welcome. Each session begins with prayer. Workouts are lead by different women, so you get something new each week.

Men's Group

Won't you join your fellow men of Holy Family as we Adore Jesus for 30 minutes of Eucharistic Adoration? We will offer a Rosary for the intentions of the men and for our Parish. Confession will be available during this time. Afterward, join us for fellowship, coffee, and discussion. The second Saturday of the month, 8 AM at St. Peter Church.

• March 8, 4 - 7pm St. Peter during Glorify Lent night of Adoration (English & Spanish)
• March 12, 1-2pm Sacred Heart (English & Spanish), 7-8pm St. Joseph (English, Spanish, Polish)

We will still have our normal Confession schedule throughout Lent:

• Tuesdays, 7:15am Sacred Heart (before 8am Mass)
• Wednesdays, 6:15pm St. Joseph (before 7pm Mass)
• Saturdays, 9:00am St. Joseph (after 8:30am Mass)
• Saturdays, 3:00 - 4:00pm St. Peter (before 4:30pm Mass)
  

St. Joseph Day Celebration

Celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph, one of our patron saints.

Mass is at 6:00pm, followed by food and fellowship afterwards in the St. Joseph cafeteria. The Hispanic community is graciously cooking food for the festivities. The rest of the parish community is asked to drinks or desserts. You may drop off drinks at the Main Office (Sacred Heart). Desserts can be left in the cafeteria before Mass.
