About St. Joseph Church

The second oldest of the three LaPorte Catholic churches, St. Joseph's was founded in 1858 by German Catholic immigrants. The church has the distinction of worshiping in the original structure that was built by its founders.  St. Joseph's is a beautiful, multicultural Catholic community with a commitment to living our lives for each other in the name of Jesus Christ.
